Superb swimming pool, magnificent setting, very quiet and close to the Coba site Good bedding and lovely staff

No catering in the evening but close to affordable and very good restaurants. The staff speaks no or very little English. Very simple breakfast (scrambled eggs, fresh cut fruit and coffee)

We love this hotel and try to visit at least once a year. It's just about perfect in every way, to be honest. It's worth it to pay the extra for the breakfast, as the food is good and the service excellent.

Our first night, the air conditioning didn't work due to a low energy issue that the hotel has no control over. I just wish I'd known or had a way to find out that the problem was electrical, since I got up more than once trying to figure out why the a/c wasn't working and I'd just have lived with it if I'd known.
